I was recently wondering how many people are searching for painters and decorators on Google. (Yeah, I don’t have much going on at the moment)

Anyway, to find out, I had a look inside the Google keyword planner.

As you can see below, every month, between 10k – 100k people search for ‘painter and decorator near me’.

If you type into Google today ‘painter and decorator near me’ does your business come up at the top of the search? Are you even on first page?

If not, you could be losing a lot of potential enquiries.

There are two ways you could rectify this.

1. Create regular content for your website to so that whenever a potential customer types a question into Google your website contains pages of the highest quality and most relevance. More info on that here

PS: Did you notice in the image that ‘kitchen cabinet painting’ is now getting as many searches as ‘painter and decorator’?

If you ever needed convincing there is a market for it, this should be enough proof for anyone!
